Music Booster Mission Statement:

  • encourage students to strive for excellence in music by providing enrichment opportunities.
    • encourage collaboration between the school and the local music community.
    • advocate for music in our schools and our local community.
    • foster community support and promote community awareness of the efforts and accomplishments of the K-12 Music program.

    2009-10 Music Operational Plan

    The HF-L Music Boosters is an organization made up of parents, teachers and community members whose goal is to support the District music program.  Membership is open to anyone (no fee) and meetings take place monthly at 7:00pm in the High School Room #112A, behind the chorus room (see the calendar to confirm the date).  Annual fundraising events include the Poinsettia sale and the Spaghetti Dinner/Square Dance.  Music Boosters help with Cougar Creations, In-House Solo Festivals and other musical events as needs arise.  Music Boosters funds are used to for a variety of needs including repair of instruments, hosting visiting musical groups, and awards to graduating seniors continuing studies in music.
